  • The DWL league is designed for players who want to play in a friendly, fun, low-commitment, RECREATIONAL league with minimal travel.

  • Teams are divided into Boys' and Girls' teams. Teams play games on Saturdays; however, some Sundays can be used to reschedule games.

  • Teams travel four away games (30-40 min) in the Northwest area of Denver (Westminster, Arvada, Wheat Ridge, and Golden), and four home games primarily at Pleasant View Soccer Complex (Boulder) and Whitetail Park (Lafayette).

  • The DWL rules can be modified at the organization’s discretion to better support the needs of the players and teams for RECREATIONAL purposes. DWL has the flexibility to allow teams to have older players who are playing down when appropriate.

RECREATIONAL GENERAL INFORMATION

The RECREATIONAL teams (U9-U19) are created based on:

  • Players registered to form teams within the age group of participation.

  • One volunteer head coach is required to lead the team.

  • Friend groups can register and indicate a coach's name so they can play on the same team.

  • No, having a coach yet? Get registered! We will look for a team for you!

  • Want to play soccer with a buddy and not have a coach yet? Get registered!

  • Albion SC Boulder will form teams based on location preference, but your request might not always be met due to the variability of age group locations.

  • Volunteer coaches help facilitate gameplay at training and weekend games.

  • Locations are around the Boulder area, and teams are placed upon availability, volunteer coaches' request and schedule selection.

  • Practice Locations: Foothills Park (North Boulder), Martin’s Park (South Boulder), Superior Community Park (Superior), Louisville Elementary (East Area).

  • Coaches may offer an additional second day of training if they would like to; however, this is up to the coach's discretion, and the coach is responsible for organizing and finding the field space.
